The coalition government has big plans to completely reorganise what is currently known as 'The National Health Service' and which was designed to give free health care from the cradle to the grave, paid for out of the taxation paid by the public.
Undoubtedly, like every organisation there is always room for improvement, both to provide a better and more consistently high standard of clinical service nationwide, and to guard against excessive cost inefficiencies. Some changes have to be made.
But are the proposed reforms really solely about delivering better care to one and all free from the cradle to the grave? Is that the guaranteed outcome?
Will the reforms protect those with long term illnesses, terminal illness or the growing number of elderly?
Will the poorer and more vulnerable be able to 'afford' the privatisation of the NHS?
Will mass contracting out to private companies undermine the consistent quality and supply of care, service and goods wherever you may live?
In practice, what real differences will the proposed changes make to you and your family and friends?

One thing is for sure, whatever is decided WILL herald great changes which will affect one and all.
